The year 2024 was full of scientific events and achievements for the Department of Information and Communication Technologies. One of the highlights was the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Guglielmo Marconi, a prominent inventor and one of the founders of modern radio communications.
To honor this date, our special correspondent visited the Marconi Museum in Rome, which houses unique exhibits related to the life and achievements of the great Italian. Photographs from the museum provided an opportunity to deeply appreciate Marconi's contribution to the development of modern technologies.
In addition, 2024 was memorable for the significant successes of the department in academic activity:
- implementation of new international scientific projects;
- professional development of lecturers and the successful defense of student projects.
The department continues to remain a center of innovation, education, and science, preserving the best traditions and developing new ideas.
