The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has announced the procedure and timeline for admission exams to Master’s and PhD programmes in 2026. The entrance assessments will be conducted using external independent evaluation technologies.
🎓 Master’s Degree Admission
Applicants must take the Unified Entrance Exam (ЄВІ), which includes:
- a General Academic Competency Test (GACT);
- a Foreign Language Test.
For certain specialisations, an additional Unified Professional Entrance Exam (ЄФВВ) is also required.
📅 Key stages:
Registration:
- 23 April – 14 May (main period)
- 26–28 May (additional period)
Main testing session:
- 26 June – 14 July
Additional session:
- 3 – 21 August
📌 Results of the main session are expected to be published by 23 July.
🔬 PhD Admission
Applicants for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Arts programmes must:
- take the Unified Entrance Exam (ЄВІ);
- pass an exam in Research Methodology.

- 14 – 29 July
Additional session:
- 24 – 28 August
📩 Important Information
Exam admission slips will be available in applicants’ personal accounts:
- by 19 June — for the main session;
- by 28 July — for the additional session.
