The first year introduces students to the fundamentals of infocommunications and establishes the foundation for their future professional development. In the course “Fundamentals of Infocommunications,” students learn about modern trends in information technologies, career opportunities, and the structure of the academic program.

Courses aimed at developing soft skills also play an important role, including foreign language studies, Ukrainian studies, humanities or economics electives, and legal competence courses. These subjects help students develop communication skills, critical thinking, and academic culture.

The technical foundation of the program is built through courses in higher mathematics, discrete mathematics, and physics, which prepare students for more advanced technical disciplines. At the same time, students begin learning programming using Python, along with modern development environments, version control systems, and widely used programming libraries.

Additional courses include UNIX-like operating systems, algorithms and data structures, as well as introductory practical training that helps students strengthen their programming and problem-solving skills.

During the third year, students move to advanced studies focused on two main tracks: Artificial Intelligence and Information Systems. The artificial intelligence track includes courses in multimedia data processing, machine learning, optimization methods, and deep learning. Students explore modern approaches to data analysis, pattern recognition, and predictive modeling using widely adopted tools such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.

Programming skills remain a key priority of the program. In the course “Object-Oriented Programming and Effective Practices,” students study Java and Kotlin, enabling them to work with multiple programming paradigms, including imperative, object-oriented, and functional approaches, and to build scalable software systems.

The second track focuses on information systems and web development. Students study front-end and back-end development using Python and Go, and gain practical experience with modern database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis. As a result, students acquire full-stack development skills for modern information systems.

Additional courses focus on information security and data protection, ensuring that students can design reliable and secure systems. The curriculum also includes industrial internship, allowing students to gain their first professional experience in the IT industry.

In the final year of study, students have the opportunity to shape their individual learning path. The “Minor elective block” and “Individual elective courses” allow students to choose subjects from across the university — ranging from psychology and economics to engineering, technical, and IT-related disciplines.

The curriculum also focuses on modern technologies for building intelligent and networked systems. Within the course “Internet of Things,” students learn how to integrate devices into networks and collect data from distributed systems. This direction is supported by the networking academy of Cisco Systems.

The course “Continuous Integration and Deployment Technologies for Information Systems” introduces students to modern CI/CD practices, automated testing, and software deployment. Additional courses such as “Economics of IT Projects” and “Human Factors Engineering” provide knowledge about technology management and human interaction with information systems.

The program concludes with the Bachelor’s Thesis (Project), where students design and implement their own innovative solution, applying the knowledge and practical skills gained throughout the program.
