We sincerely congratulate our PhD student Raed Al-Senaykh on the successful defence of his dissertation!
On 14 August 2026, a public defence of Raed Al-Senaykh’s dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) was held online at the National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute”.
The dissertation was submitted in the field of knowledge 17 “Electronics and Telecommunications”, speciality 172 “Telecommunications and Radio Engineering”, and was entitled “Methods of Adaptive Speckle Noise Filtering and A Priori Assessment of Radar Image Quality Based on Neural Networks.”
The successful defence marks an important milestone in Raed’s academic journey and is the result of his dedicated research into modern methods for radar image processing.
We would like to express our special gratitude to Raed’s research supervisor, Oleksii Rubel, for his guidance, support, and contribution to the preparation of the dissertation.
We also thank our colleagues V.O. Makarichev and S.S. Kryvenko, who served as reviewers, and Professor A.S. Popov, who chaired the defence.
